"I met Joette randomly while
Christmas shopping in a boutique in 2006. I attended my first full moon meditation in January 2007 and haven't looked
back. No matter how many new or old faces appeared at the mediations, Joette created such a powerful and comfortable experience
for everyone. I was in awe of her leadership, her knowledge, and the accuracy of her intuitive messages she brought forward
in regards to myself and others. I know we all were!
These experiences led me to pursue the study of Usui Ryoho Reiki under Joette. She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate,
supportive teacher who always is available and willing to answer any questions, offer support and provide guidance at any
time. And she continues to do so. Joette goes above and beyond for her students and for the people in her care. Her passion
and belief in what she does is undeniable. She is a natural healer and a natural teacher. That is evident from my own personal
experiences as her client and student, as well as, my observations of the experiences of others.
I feel extremely honored by Joette's guidance, instruction and presence
in my life. Anyone fortunate enough to cross her path will experience powerful healing, insight and compassion."
- Tracey Poffenroth Speech-Language Pathologist, Acute
Care; Swallowing Comfort and Reiki Master "In the autumn of 2004 I was in the middle of a flare-up with C.R.P.S. (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) and
in absolute agony. With chronic pain in my legs and feet I was using a wheelchair at home and a cane outside (when I went
out). I was heavily medicated and undergoing nerve blocks. I'd had to quit teaching art and hadn't painted in over
a month. Despair was an unwelcome guest; my future looked bleak.
Joette offered to help. I couldn't believe the results! The pain diminished as my energy increased; I stopped
taking my medication; I stopped using any walking aids; I resumed teaching, taking on even more classes; the best part…it
all happened in under two weeks! Now I'm
back to painting, carving, drawing, teaching, basically living my life. I have a 'tune-up' once in a while and with
Joette's help and a little intestinal fortitude I feel I can travel my path, whatever lies ahead. Thank you, Joette."- Bill Woodward, Artist, Calgary
