It is an ancient art of channeling the most powerful healing energy. Reiki assists with healing on all levels: emotional, physical, mental and spiritual. Anyone can lay their hands on another person and help accelerate the healing process by transferring magnetic energy. However, a person who has been through the Reiki attunements has been fine tuned to a higher level of healing energy, which in turn allows them to channel higher amounts of Universal Life Force Energy. This energy is guided through the hands of the practitioner. A Reiki treatment brings the body, mind and spirit into balance and harmony by awakening the body's own life force energy. It may be sensed as heat, cold, tingling, light or color. Reiki is both powerful and gentle. It is not a belief system. The recipient need only be ready to receive. It is a technique for balancing energy, reducing physical pain and symptoms of stress, while promoting self healing from dis-ease. Reiki complements all regular medical and alternative treatments. Reiki can never cause harm.               Reiki and Unborn Children When a mother has a Reiki treatment her unborn child receives the session as well. This treatment is wondeful to assist with full development of the fetus. Reiki Distant Healing For years I have given Reiki Healing to family members and friends living across town and in other cities: Vancouver Island, Vancouver Area, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and various parts of Nova Scotia. In December 2004 I was given a trip to the Dominican. Prior to leaving for the Dominican I was working with a client. I intended to continue to work on her while I was gone. I explained that I could send her energy from the Dominican, just like I had been sending her tune-ups in-between our sessions. Her body had been coping with years of illness. Because she was unsure of the ability to receive healing from me from that distance, I asked her to log the date and time when she felt I was working with her. I did the same when I began my distant sessions with her. When I returned we compared our notes. The starting times I logged for the distant healing sessions with her were earlier by only one/two minutes, her clock was two minutes faster than mine. The dates were same. Distant healing enables people to continue to work together regardless of the geographic location. This does take concentration and devotion from the practitioner. This method of healing is taught in second level Reiki training. Sound Therapy Mounted under my oak healing massage bed are 4 transducers, far superior to what is in your stereo system. These transducers are designed to vibrate sound through solid objects not just air. Placement of these transducers symmetrically channel the sound vibrations along the body. The human body is 75% water and the rest is solid material. Sound travels through water 5 times more effectively than through air and 25 times more effectively through a solid! By transmitting sound vibrations attuned to our frequency, through our bodies we have extreme health benefits for the cellular structures and energy systems.  The CD's use current scientific technology to develope brain wave states of alpha, theta or delta. Listening to the music through stereo head phones promotes brain sychronization or whole brain thinking. This meditive state of being combined with the healing of Reiki ignites cell rejuvination as the body's rate of cellular reproduction takes place. Reproducing healthy cells instead of cells with dis-ease. Studies have shown when the left and right brain hemispheres are working together memory and cognitive functioning is enhanced as well as maintaining optimal balance of moods and emotions.  Stress puts tremendous strain on the sympathetic nervous system...fight or flight reflex. By balancing brainwave states the hypothalmus has a sense of safety and the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems are brought into equilibrium. Thus incorporating Sound Therapy with Reiki Sessions increase the rate of healing possible. **Please read the development of the 4 brainwave states during meditive times under meditations**  Color Therapy Science proves that color guides and stimulates us through tiny shifts in the wave length of visible light. Every color has its own personality and in each lies knowledge and clarity. Mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually, they empower us.  My first introduction to color therapy was in the year 2000 when after a divorce I had protein in my urine or the early stages of kidney dis-ease. Protien in urine is caused from traumatic events. Color therapy with Reiki elimated the "dis-ease"  and truly began my quest to learn more about healing options. Color therapy is incorporated in every session in one way or another.  Past Life Journey  As each of us share, learn and grow...we have new beginnings.  Who were you in a Past Life?  Do you feel home sick for places you have never been in this life time? Is there an immediate soul pod connection when you meet certain people? Are certain unexplained fears blocking you from being able to fully express yourself? Past Life Regression is a powerful healing tool.  Often we have unexplained connections, fears of things or behaviors that we just don't understand.  Past Life Regression can help you to better understand all of those unanswered questions. During a group session with people you have interacted with in this and past lives, relaxation techniques are used to help you to relax to the perfect and deepest level of your being.  The group then divides into partners and through guidance the two of you visualize your past life experience. Many times two groups of people will experience the same life time experience from their perspective. When that session ends we share our experiences and great recognition and understanding flows. After the discussion each person pairs with a different person and the healing is repeated to allow more experiences to surface. A discussion then follows.  The pairing of people continues and the unified sharing and healing from all shared experiences brings greater perspectives of understanding for this current life time. Recall of the past life expression occurs through visions, sounds, feelings, thoughts, etc during the session. To conclude our evening a guided meditation of appreciation is given.
